I opened Milkbath Hair & Scalp Spa in Houston to provide clients with customized hair & scalp treatments targeting concerns ranging from lack of moisture to hair loss to sensitive/itchy scalp. 

I spent the past 20 years working in the Oil & Gas and Consumer Packaged Goods industries & was introduced to the beauty of deep conditioning treatments during my travels to Indonesia.  I quickly noticed the change in my hair & scalp - I was hooked.

I couldn’t find anything similar at home so this journey began!  The concept grew from solely providing deep conditioning treatments to leveraging an array of the best tools, products & techniques geared toward hair & scalp health. After my son, Alex, was born I experienced significant postpartum hair loss but saw little to no improvement over time.  After extensive research, I discovered the benefits of deep conditioning, scalp massage, red-light therapy, scalp scrubs & oxygenation.

After opening, I was often asked, “Is this a franchise? Do you have other locations?” I quickly realized this concept needs to grow, and the best way to realize its potential is franchising. I’m excited to expand and work with franchisees to become the household name in
